Views from the Alhambra

View from the "red castle", the oldest & most ruined part of the complex... Grenada is comprised of two hills. One one sits the Alhambra & Generalife, on anther sits the Albayzin, the best preserved Moorish Quarter in Spain.

The center courtyards of the buildings are clearly visible from this angle.

In the mid-day heat, it was surprising to see the snow covered mountains in the distance.
